Morton's Steakhouse
1050 Connecticut Avenue
Washington, DC 20036
202-955-5997
Who says stuffy steakhouses can't be fun? Morton's The Steakhouse
may be a classic steakhouse with all the usual accompaniments:
big, hearty entrees, enormous side orders of baked potatoes and
creamed spinach and classic wines and cocktails to play along.
But above the hustle and bustle of Connecticut Avenue is where
you'll find DC's Morton's complete with a charming outdoor patio
and the usual great service with a smile.
What really makes this Morton's special however, is their little
secret of a happy hour called Bar Bites. This specialty menu
is only served from 4:30 till 6:30 and 9:30 to 11pm, Monday through
Friday for a mere $5 a plate. Yes folks, you hear me right, I
said $5. Try the mini prime cheeseburgers or the blue cheese
french fries that melt in your mouth.
Fancier palates will appreciate the petite filet mignon sandwiches,
the colossal shrimp cocktail and jumbo lump crab, spinach and
artichoke dip. Who says you can't eat like a king on a pauper's
budget?
